2025 "2nd Semester Kick Off" Teacher Grant Recipients

Congratulations to the following teachers who were recipients of the "2nd Semester Kick Off" teacher grant: Amber Bos, James Craft, Kathryn Etheridge, Jennifer Kohler, Jennifer Schroeder, and Daniel Siford. 

Each teacher received $300.00 to use towards a project they'd like to implement during the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Members of the Education Foundation recognized the teachers during a recent double-header basketball game.

Enjoy a meal and support the South Central Education Foundation at the same time by eating at Buffalo Wild Wings! From 5:00pm-9:00pm on Wednesday, December 11th, Buffalo Wild Wings in LaPorte will be hosting a give-back night with 10% of all food sales donated back to the South Central Education Foundation. Both dine-in and carryout meals are eligible. Thank you for your support!

2024 "Back to School" Teacher Grant Recipients

Congratulations to the following teachers who were recipients of the "Back to School" teacher grant: Alynn Eggert, Esaleigh Hauptli, Ashley Medley, Amy Morrison, Alyssa Mulligan, and Linissa Wirtes. 

Each teacher received $300.00 to use towards a project they'd like to implement during the 2024-2025 school year. The Education Foundation also gave new teachers, both to the profession and to South Central, Amazon gift cards for classroom supplies. 

2020 Scholarship Raffle Winner

Congratulations to Austin Howell, who won the 2020 Education Foundation $2,500 scholarship raffle! The ticket was drawn at the end of the varsity boys' basketball game Friday night vs. Westville. Joan Grott, South Central grad, and longtime scoreboard operator, drew the ticket.

Fall 2019 Teacher Grant Recipients

Congratulations to the teachers who were recipients of our fall 2019 teacher grant! John Bailey, Donna Hale, and Dan Siford along with Kate Rogowski were selected to each receive $500 towards their class projects. We are proud to be able to help these teachers and enhance learning for their students!

2018 Scholarship Raffle Winner

Congratulations to Brie Kehoe, winner of the education foundation's $2,500 scholarship! The winner was drawn at halftime of the football game Friday night by a senior cheerleader. Thank you to all who supported the foundation through this raffle!
