I am a graduate of Manchester University. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Mild Disabilities. I also have a Master's Degree in Special Education from Indiana University. I am a special education teacher for grades K-12, and currently have the pleasure of working with students in grades 1st through 4th. I have been teaching at SC for many years. My husband, Greg, encouraged me to come and work at South Central. He is an SC graduate and wanted our children to have the same experience he did. All three of our daughters have graduated from SC and our middle daughter, Emma, teaches at the Jr.-Sr. high school! I feel very fortunate to have been able to work in the same school with my children, neighbors and community members. I am a familiar face around the school and many students see me outside of the classroom. I try and attend games and 4-H activities. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, taking pictures, scrapbooking and helping out in the pig barn. I love my job and the wonderful students and friends I have made at our awesome South Central School Community!
