Until this year, I have taught art and English at North Judson Jr. Sr. High School since 2007. I am a magna cumme laude graduate of Valparaiso University. I went to school to pursue a career in art. Hello to all! My name is Mr. McCallum. I am a Purdue University graduate with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Education. I truly feel that teaching agriculture classes gives students an advantage when they head out into the real world. I tell the kids at the beginning of the year, 'You are surrounded by and use agriculture everyday, but sometimes you don't even realize it. It is my job to make you more informed about where your food comes from, what it takes to make that food as well as the sacrifices by the people who raise it, and finally where agriculture can take you in life.' I am also the FFA advisor and greenhouse manager. As you can see I wear many hats! Feel free to explore the FFA portion of the webpage. Our students are always doing new and exciting activities and we should all be proud of them!!!! If you have any ideas for community service projects or activities for the FFA please feel free to call or email me! Email:mccallum@scentral.k12.in.us
