Students entering 12th grade are required to receive their second Meningitis (MCV4) vaccine and two Hepatitis A vaccines. The Hepatitis A vaccine requires six months between dose one and dose two. Please make sure to get the first dose done early. A document with the dates of the above may be turned into the nurse's office before the 2020-2021 school year. Students that will be seniors in the 2020-2021 school year will need proof turned in by the first day of their senior year.
2020-2021 6TH GRADE STUDENTS
The state of Indiana requires that all students entering 6th grade receive: 1st dose of Meningitis (MCV4), a Tdap booster, and new this year - two doses of Hepatitis A. The Hepatitis A vaccine requires six months between dose one and dose two, so be sure to start this early. Proof of vaccination should be turned into the nurse's office no later than the first day of school.
2020-2021 SC STUDENTS
All students in grades K-12 are to have both Hepatitis A vaccines. Elementary students should already be compliant, but students in grades 8-11 may not be. Parents should check their student's records to be sure they have two Hepatitis A vaccines.

Schools had until July 1, 2017 to make the necessary modifications to their wellness policies. Food brought to our schools for birthday parties, classroom celebrations, and/or holiday parties must follow our smart snack guidelines.
